We Moved!

I have some big news… the girls and I (and Fozzy) moved!

This has been an incredibly difficult year for our family and after much prayer and heartache, I’ve decided to file for divorce with the support of my family, friends and church. Please know that this is not done lightly. Out of respect for my ex, I will leave it at that.

But anyway I now find myself entering a new chapter as a single mom. I’m not gonna lie. It’s scary and overwhelming. But I did kill a spider with my bare hands yesterday for the first time ever. So there’s that.

One of the changes we’ve made is a move. We loved our house and our wonderful neighbors… but it was more house than we needed and it was a lot for me to maintain by myself. So we sold the house over the summer, and we moved into our new home in Lake Stevens about two months ago. I can’t wait to show you the new house… so stay tuned.

And Holy Cow moving is a lot of work! I don’t recommend it. My family and friends have been here helping me pack and clean and do yard work and house projects, and I feel so loved and blessed.

I have so many fun decor ideas for the new house churning in my head. The girls are thrilled to have their own bedrooms, and B’s pre-teen Boho bedroom is one of the first projects on my list.

I would appreciate your prayers as the girls and I figure out our new routines, adjust to a new school, and get settled into our new community and home.
